5.0 star star star star starShe is very knowledgeable and took the time to explain things in terms I pretty much understood and clarified things I did not. She laid out for me what exactly the treatment options and the pros and cons of each.

5.0 star star star star starI don't even know how to properly elucidate on this, but I'll try. Dr. G is profoundly knowledgeable in discovering & identifying problems, and what can and should be done about it. She leaves no stone unturned - doesn't brush things off or leave anything to chance. All bases are covered. And so importantly, she WANTS to get hold of the problem & improve my quality of life. She is thorough & attentive, and takes me seriously. She patiently and clearly explains things to help me understand. She jumps on any sign of a new issue. Her manner is expert, efficient, and yet compassionate. This is a rare combination in such a proficient physician. I'm extraordinarily blessed to be in her care.

5.0 star star star star starShe's very thoughtful and takes time to see me as a person and not just patient. She's thorough in providing me with information and choices in my care. As a senior I feel listened to and respected. She's been an advocate for me over 3 years and I feel so lucky to have her expertise!

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
