4.0 star star star star star_borderDifficult to get timely care or integrated care at Northwestern. As a cancer patient, it shouldn't be so difficult to be seen without waiting 90 days or calling regularly to see if there's an opening.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Grebenciucova remembers me specifically, and I’ve only been seeing her for about a year. She takes the time to explain options and her rationale. She also listens to me and gives me sufficient time to ask questions and present my opinions. I cannot say enough good things about her!

5.0 star star star star starDr Grebenciucova was professional and knowledgeable she demonstrated an interest in the reason for my visit. She came in already having reviewed my past medical history. She listened attentively to symptoms that were of concern to me and reviewed with me the test results I had brought in. She explained possible diagnosis, the need for further testing and she explained the particular test themselves. She suggested referrals and gave great feedback. I would highly recommend Dr Grebenciucova to anyone that is in need of that particular specialty area of care.

5.0 star star star star starI was familiar with Dr. G.'s background and qualifications, based on information I found online and through the SRNA (Siegel Rare Neuroimmune Association), so I was grateful for the opportunity to see her professionally. I feel that I'm in the best hands possible to recover from my transverse myelitis.

5.0 star star star star starDr G & her Resident were very thorough, never had a 2 hour appointment, listened to my experiences/concerns and while reassuring that Dr. G didn't think I have what the previous neurologist diagnosed me with, gave me hope that I'd get definitive answers at NMH! Obviously Dr. G is a specialist w/in the realm of neurology but if someone I knew had MS or an auto-immune disease then would refer to her.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
