5.0 star star star star starDr Jaros is always so helpful and friendly at my appts. He answers questions without any bit of condescension or judgement. It's clear he also reviews my chart before appts as he seems to be up to speed on my medical history. I really appreciate this as sometimes I feel like I'm reminding other doctors of my situation/history at each appt.

5.0 star star star star starWe have been to 4 different Rheumatologists in 9 months as my wife kept getting sicker and losing weight (went from 135 to 92 lbs in 9 months) we were getting passed around specialist to specialist at Rush University a pulmonologist there recommended that we pursue a second opinion because we we're getting no where as her health kept deteriorating. Her GP Dr [last name] wrote Dr Jaros and he accepted her case upon seeing him he admitted her immediately to NW hospital stabilized her and built a plan of action that is getting very good results we're so blessed to have met this Doctor he is as vested in her recovery as she is and she actually feels she can get into remission under his care he's a amazing person that has spent a lot of time helping us. He treats us like were his family absolutely when your health situations have your back to a wall this is the doctor you want leading your team. I can't say enough about how he's been. Part of her treatment was denied by insurance he went to work on appeals and fought for his patient we start that treatment next week thanks to his effort. Thank you Dr Jaros your the rockstar of Rheumatology

5.0 star star star star starDr Jaros was phenomenal! Took so much time to kindly answer all of my many questions, and while also sharing with me the newest research on possible future treatments. He put me at ease with his humor and extreme intelligence. He messaged me right away about my lab results, as well as a couple follow up questions I had. I feel so confident in him as my specialist in GCA, in helping me deal with my condition, now and throughout any treatment I may need.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
