5.0 star star star star starBoth Dr. Lin and his Fellow were very thorough, repeatedly offered the chance to ask questions or affirm my understanding. I left the visit confident in the treatment plan and comfortable scheduling the procedure.

3.0 star star star star_border star_borderHe was knowledgeable and explained things about my medication that hadn’t been explained to me before. Was somewhat rushed and slightly dismissive. When I asked about symptom relief, he assumed I was looking for medications; however I was looking for lifestyle ideas - he didn’t suggest anything other than titrating my current medication and pretty much said there was birthing I could do. I would see him for a procedure since he seemed to know his expertise well.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Linn had left the room at the end of visit without really saying anything. He acted as if he was running late for something and, that was fine, but my husband and I didn’t know if we were to leave or if Dr. Linn was going to come back. We left, hoping that we were supposed to.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Lin is super informative and lays out prognosis, causes, treatment options and risks with a very clear, confident and caring approach. I left my consult/follow-up with him feeling like he was more than a doctor - and more like my healthcare partner.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg. To learn more about our Disclosure and Professional Integrity Policy, and the conflict of interest policies of our joint affiliate survey partners, please go to our Office for Regulatory Affairs Policies page.
