5.0 star star star star starShe really takes the time and listens to the patients. I have never found a rheumatologist who listens and understands and tries to help you. She takes time to go over all your symptoms and how your feeling and if anything new is going on and discuss it with you. She never makes you feel like you are making things up or like they are in your head like so many other dr. do especially when you have things like fibromyalgia. She is wonderful and I would not go anywhere else. 10 stars for sure

5.0 star star star star starShe was patient and seemed genuinely concerned to get to the bottom of something that no one can help me with. Doesn't mean there are answers, but she was great. Just my first visit, so I don't have more than that to say

3.0 star star star star_border star_borderShe is very nice but I feel like there was not much she could offer other than another doctor recommendation and some at home braces for my hands and more xrays. I did have to explain each illness as to why I'm on different medications but also was asked why I was there when it was in my chart as well as I filled out a intake form before seeing her.

5.0 star star star star starI went to many doctors to find the right rheumatologist. When I met Dr. Gierut she took the time to listen to me and was very compassionate. Dr. Gierut took the time to find the right medication that would finally work for me. The best part is I am not just a number, Dr. Gierut actually knows me .

5.0 star star star star starI was impressed with Dr. Geirut’s evaluation of my condition, her demeanor to care for me and improve my situation in a holistic way and her opinion about controlling the progression with diet first. I truly appreciate her extremely pleasant personality. Haven’t met a doctor like her in a long time!!!

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
