5.0 star star star star starHe was very knowledgeable, he listened to me, and addressed all my concerns that were listed on my chart. He asked questions as well as answered mine, and all of what was discussed was printed out for me to read for review or for me to understand something new I could consider for better health options.

5.0 star star star star starDr Kakish was excellent, he was willing to look up on uptodate things he was uncertain about. And did not just make things up. He was thorough and took his time even though he was fully booked. He listened to each one of my problems patiently. His MA i believe Carla was also very kind and welcoming.

5.0 star star star star starHe takes time with me!! He looked at all my health concerns for the past year (this was my annual physical) and comments on them. He is way more thorough than the specialists I've seen. That's why I'm not willing to switch Dr to someone closer. I drive a little over an hour to see him.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Kakish is personable, very thorough, and always explains things in terms that a patient can understand. I have been his patient for many years, and I can honestly say he sets a high bar when it comes to communication and empathy. I am so glad that NW medicine managed to obtain him as one of their best physicians!

5.0 star star star star starThis was my first visit with Dr. Kakish. He was informative, thorough and took time answering my questions. He seems proactive about my care. I only gave a 9 because I've only seen him this one time.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg. To learn more about our Disclosure and Professional Integrity Policy, and the conflict of interest policies of our joint affiliate survey partners, please go to our Office for Regulatory Affairs Policies page.
