5.0 star star star star starRegardless of her busy and demanding schedule she never rushed nor failed to spend as much time as I needed explaining test results and treatment options. And then repeated them as often as I asked. I've been blessed with excellent providers and Dr. G set a new standard.

5.0 star star star star starShe was professional and polite and explained my condition, and my treatment options clearly. I opted for the steroid injection as the first approach and when she administered the injection it was not nearly as painful as I anticipated.

5.0 star star star star starNow, I have arthritis for the hand and trigger finger for my right hand and Dr. Gilley is very efficiently treating it, and possibly for a surgery by her. She is an excellent and competent doctor I trust well for my hand surgery, when it is scheduled.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Gilley listened to my concerns, showed me the X-ray of my hand, gave an explanation about my situation and discussed with me possible treatment options. Dr. Gilley and Amanda (nurse) and Vernita (Nurse Practioner) were all so friendly and personable and put me at ease.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Gilley successfully operated on my trigger-locked thumb a few years ago. I am greatly satisfied with the results. She was able to let me know that nothing can be done for the arthritic nodes in my fingers. That was somewhat of a relief.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg. To learn more about our Disclosure and Professional Integrity Policy, and the conflict of interest policies of our joint affiliate survey partners, please go to our Office for Regulatory Affairs Policies page.
