What I said above: Dr Hemal Patel helped me father & me at a critical time before his death. Due to that interaction at his office visit, after my father died, I knew I wanted Dr Patel to be my gastro Dr. Now that he helped me understand the importance of genetic testing, I will be screened by him more closely & am even more glad that he is my Dr.

Dr. Patel is a great doctor. I am so grateful for his care. I had confidence and trust in him from my first office visit until after the procedure was complete. He is one of the few doctors that actually speaks to you and your family afterwards. This is huge!

I have had him for two colonoscopies and EGDs . I am completely satisfied with him. However on his team that removed my mouthpiece however cost me $508 with a snapped off crown post on my upper front tooth. I suppose it is possible that pressure could posssibly have been placed on the mouth piece during the EGD and caused my injury. In which case would cause be to re-evaluate my rating.
