5.0 star star star star starDr. Hinchcliffe is everything I hoped for as I faced a vulvar-region carcinoma diagnosis. A published research author of novel cancer treatment, Dr. Hinchcliff is extraordinary in her depth of knowledge in her field. She delivers quality treatment with an authentic human touch and the gift to communicate medical information effectively. From our initial meeting to the post-op final follow-up, I knew Dr. Hinchcliffe was on my side; she explained her plan of treatment with an elegant simplicity that I found enlightening and reassuring; she met my every concern with respect for my need to understand. She was amazingly effective in managing her support team as they worked to gather data and make appointments for tests and surgery, and also managed my expectations of care every step on the way.

5.0 star star star star starDr Hinchcliff is everything I hoped for: She is scientific and serious while personal and communicative. She connected to me as a person and expressed clearly the strategy and action she is taking on my behalf. She is a top rate doctor and an authentic person. I never felt handled or managed— rather heard and cared for. She has good people working in her team; she is on top of the details, it seems that she gets the best from people by giving the best she has. It was the best experience I’ve had in a doctor’s office that I can remember.

5.0 star star star star starShe investigated my tests and symptoms thoroughly, showed me the possibilities for my surgery so I could see what was expected. Then, my surgery went well, tests were made to know where I stood and my recovery went well also. I could not be happier with the results and the information she provided to me so I could understand my issues. I have already recommended her to a co-worker with gynecological problems that may need Dr. Hinchcliff's expertise.

5.0 star star star star starShe was extremely competent in explaining things in the pre-surgical meeting. I would have given her a 10 if she had come out to the surgical waiting room or into my daughters room personally instead of calling us. I would have liked a more personal touch.

3.0 star star star star_border star_borderDr Hinchcliff’s team is great! We had gotten off to a rough start with her per se but we are finding her to be easier to work with now. She is knowledgeable and dr [ ], whom I mostly interfaced with, makes it easier to deal with when we come in for checkups

5.0 star star star star starI appreciate all she did for me when I first came to see her with my cancer issues. She explained everything in a manner I could understand and spent a lot of time with me, mentally preparing me for what was going to occur during surgery. Her follow-up techniques were mentioned in my previous comments above.

4.0 star star star star star_borderIt was my first visit and I hope I am able to stay with her as I embark on my journey but she is so kind, explains everything to you, asks questions and is reassuring in every sense - body language as well as speaking.

5.0 star star star star starDr thoroughly double checked my doctor’s work by examining me to make sure it made sense with the report. If she had only gone by the report I would’ve thought she had not thoroughly examined me. She also set expectations that it is anxiety provoking and made a visual map of the procedure. She was excellent!

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
