5.0 star star star star starDr. Sanders spent an hour and ahalf with me. He reviewed in substantial detail my recent blood tests. I had numerous questions, many of which he answered at length. My Stage 3B kidney disease is one key reason I joined the Concierge practice. Dr. Sanders directed me to do 6 or 7 things to help keep my Stage 3B kidney disease stable. I feel that I know exactly what I need to do _ no confusion. I knew losing weight would be good for my kidneys. To that end, I will exercise (among other things). I asked Dr. Sanders what kind of exercise he thought would benefit me the most. He suggested a form of exercise I'd never heard of _ HIT _ high intensity training. He said it was a combo of cardio and strength training. He said strength trading was important because strong muscles with endurance can exercise longer, burning more calories. That would help me lose weight. Wow! He knew about something I'd never heard of, and I learned why strength training was so important. At my request he also recommended a dentist who can take care of my current unique dental needs, and he suggested a local nephrologist I will see if my creatinine level rises above 2.0. Both doctors sound excellent. We also talked about my PSA and free PSA levels, and he suggested I see my urologist. Lysette is sending my test results to the urologist. I've been asking friends if they think I need hearing aids. Several immediately answered "yes." Dr. Sanders told me how to get started on this. And Lynette is scheduling the appointment. He recommended that I get first, the RSV vaccine, and later start the two-stage shingles vaccine. Dr, sanders also recommended that I get a $60 heart test given at Delnor, saying the test has revealed some things that has saved some people's lives. I'm in for that! Lysette is scheduling the appointment. We talked about my sleep apnea, and I told Dr. Sanders about a study in India that was reported in Smithsonian. This study was a real study, but I was telling him this mostly for fun. You see, in India it's a cultural practice to blow conch shells. They ran a study in which people with sleep apnea blew into conch shells for 15 minutes straight on 5 days out of each week. They found that the sleep apnea problem for some of these patients was significantly alleviated, because blowing into the conch shells strengthened their throat muscles. Again, I mentioned this just because thought it was kind of bizarre and funny, and Dr. Sanders did laugh. And then I asked him this question, again, just for fun. "What brand of conch shell would you recommend I buy, Dr. Sanders?" He laughed again, but then he surprised me by answering my question: "I'd buy one that's not very loud so that you have to blow hard into it." Unbelievable! That was actually a good answer _ when I expected no answer at all! There's more. I asked him about a friend with chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS/ME), an incurable disease. She had asked me to inquire if she could schedule appointments with Dr. Sanders at 4:30 or 5 pm if she joined the Concierge practice. She has a hellacious sleep disorder that's part of her CFS, and she often doesn't awake and get up until 5 pm. Dr. Sanders said he could schedule 4:30 (but not 5 pm) appointments. This gives her hope that she may get some help for CFS within the Concierge practice. My sister asked me to get a recommendation for a podiatrist, and Dr. Sanders immediately gave one saying of the doctor, "She's fantastic." My sister has already thanked me for the recommendation. To my sister's request a year or two ago for a recommendation to a urologist, Dr. Sanders answered "Dr. [ ]" My sister LOVES Dr. [ ] I had a fabulous appointment with Dr. Sanders today! Fabulous! Radical! Thank you NW Medicine! [Patient's Name]

5.0 star star star star starI recently visited Dr. Sanders, and I have to say, it was hands down the most thorough medical experience I've ever had. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcome and comfortable. They were efficient, friendly, and very accommodating. Dr. Sanders took the time to really listen to all my concerns and explained everything in detail, which put me at ease right away. I never felt rushed, and he made sure I understood everything was covered. The level of care and attention was exceptional. I highly recommend Dr. Sanders and his team.

5.0 star star star star starGreat doctor! Would strongly recommend him to anyone looking for a primary care physician. He is attentive and great at explaining just about anything. I would highly recommend him to anyone. Sadly, he is moving to Concierge Medicine and I will no longer be able to keep him as a primary care physician.
