5.0 star star star star starDr. Alam was wonderful. He made the entire process from start to finish comfortable. He was patient and caring. He was gentle and checked to make sure I was feeling ok throughout the procedure. He was articulate and informative. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Alam to friends and family.

5.0 star star star star starDr Alam did a great job of removing my cancer. He worked with his assistant Dr [two alternate name spellings], I'm not sure. Both worked wonders and got my skin cancer. Dr Alam told me the procedure that he would use and it worked out perfectly.

5.0 star star star star starBeing a nurse I can be a bit critical but Dr Alam gets a 5 star rating from me after having 12 Mohs surgeries. My only complaint is that unless Dr Ellis is doing your closures you have a fellow doing it. I had a bad closure that ended up getting infected. I had to use steri strips later that day for a proper closure

5.0 star star star star starWent to Dr. Alam due to reputation and # procedures performed. His team is excellent!! Opportunity for improvement: Dr. Alam should introduce himself when entering room as patient had never met with him previously.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg. To learn more about our Disclosure and Professional Integrity Policy, and the conflict of interest policies of our joint affiliate survey partners, please go to our Office for Regulatory Affairs Policies page.
