5.0 star star star star starI almost felt Dr. Cedeno had read my mind, because she brought up not just facts about my specific condition, but also about related issues. She answered my questions before I needed to ask. When she asked me questions or when I explained things, she was a good listener.

1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderShe doesn't listen, she is not flexible, she has not a lot of knowledge when it comes to trt, and I feel like she needs to be more understanding and pay attention to patients, instead of forcing her unexperienced theories onto people who actually wants to get better.

5.0 star star star star starShe gains trust very quickly with her manner and communication style. She does not rush and she is clearly very knowledgeable. She spent a long time answering all my questions. I left feeling more empowered and with better information.

2.0 star star star_border star_border star_borderSeems reasonable but has zero capacity for genuine patient care or understanding of how to discuss health issues holistically or outside her own lives experience. I'll get my prescriptions as needed but she's not someone to discuss health issues with in depth or someone who I'd trust with all the information or all my questions

1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderIf I could say less than 0, I would. She provided no help at all. I’m not looking for an answer to my problem right away or a quick fix or anything. I’m looking for a dr who will listen to my concerns and work to find a solution and she completely dismissed me. I plan on writing a lengthier review about her later and will post about her wherever I can possibly post about my experience. I left in tears and with no hope of finding an answer with her.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Cedeno seemed a little green with regard to ordering specific equipment for prescriptions (sorting through the many different styles of needle and syringe), that was the only knock against her really. Otherwise listened to my concerns and responded quickly through the patient portal once I had test results to analyze.

5.0 star star star star starEvery question I asked she took her time and answered them all. I didn’t feel rushed or like a number but a real human. She shows me how much she cares by running tests to make sure all her basis are covered and I know she really cares about my health!!! Highly recommend Dr. Cedeno!!

5.0 star star star star starDr. Cedeno is personable, concerned, listens to symptoms and questions, and is direct and thorough in her responses. She provides useful, logical explanations, possible diagnoses, and a structured plan for future tests and when the next appointment will be. She also related that she will give feedback on test results and notifications of results that reflect immediate care. I am favorably impressed with her bedside manner and clinical acumen.

2.0 star star star_border star_border star_borderShe is not a good listener. Not a good collaborator. Diabetes is a patient managed condition. The patient needs good skills for effective blood sugar management. She tells you what to do because that is what she wants rather than helping you learn how to correct the shortcoming in what you are currently doing. I have to throw out everything I've learned having lived with this condition for 25 years based on a 15 minute conversation with very little data.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Cedeño reviews health history and gives recommendations for future health plans. Appointment time is not only forher to check your progress, but is used to discuss any medical-related questions you may have about overall health, other specialists you might consider seeing, and one medication’s impact on any other medication.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
