5.0 star star star star starThis was my first appointment with Dr Bendre. He was so kind and patient and gently explained the reasons for the issue I was having. He gave me his first recommendation for eliminating the problem and explained alternative recommendations if the first one did not solve the problem. I felt very good about the appointment.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Bendre was wonderful. No nonsense. Not patronizing. Explained things very well. Clearly and concisely set forth options and courses of action and made a sound recommendation. It was a very efficient and thorough visit.

5.0 star star star star starI APPRECIATE him so much - - he has helped me - - the only Doctor who would help me - - when others took one look at my hand and Flat-Out Refused to help me in any way. It is taking time but he is helping me as best he can. That's no small thing.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Bendre was a colleague of my husband before he retired. Not only do I appreciate Dr. Bendre’s manner with me and have complete confidence in his medical and clinical skills but my husband recommended Dr. Bendre.

5.0 star star star star starI was a last minute addition to Doctor Bendre after an unfortunate fall on Thanksgiving. He saw me the very next day, I had my hand surgery on Nov 27th . I was scared to death as at 72 years old I have never had any kind of surgery. His whole team kept me calm.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg. To learn more about our Disclosure and Professional Integrity Policy, and the conflict of interest policies of our joint affiliate survey partners, please go to our Office for Regulatory Affairs Policies page.
