5.0 star star star star starDoctor Ann Allie is so very nice, efficient and knowledgeable about geriatric medicine that I've been seeing her for years. Yesterday I was fearful that I had to go to ER and/or have surgery to remove a huge toe callous that had cracked open showing blood. Dr. Allie's nurse instead scheduled me to see Dr. Allie within two hours. Dr. Allie examined the toe and then had one of her team podiatrists scale the callous until it was entirely gone. Foregoing this podiatrist will examine and treat my feet bimonthly.

5.0 star star star star starAs my Primary Care Physician for the past 10 years and my husband's for the past 5 years, we feel secure and confident that Dr. Allie will guide us through our aging process with both her expertise and her kindness. She asks us questions; she answers our questions; she makes us aware of current research and data for our demographic; she explains the reasons for her particular recommendations; keeps us up to date on medications and vaccinations; and encourages us to contact her with any questions or issues we might have. We're fortunate to have her as our Primary Care Physician.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
