5.0 star star star star starShe's the best. Excellent results so far on the surgery. Very direct and thorough in her explanations of procedures, outcomes and potential risks. And also very patient and respectful of patient's needs and concerns.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Kristof has been thorough and patient when explaining my condition, test needs and results, and treatment options. She performed surgery for me recently and her care before and after have been exceptional, and the outcome has been excellent. She is a shining example of how doctors should treat their patients.

5.0 star star star star starSo knowledgeable, friendly, and caring! She listens, not only to my issues, but takes the time to talk and explain different options. All this with one of the best "bedside manners" I have ever experienced.

5.0 star star star star starVery matter-of-fact, to the point, but listened and responded to my questions, and generally personable (bedside manner matters!). Also, somehow I was in the computer for staying overnight, which I had heard was a possibility if needed but not a certainty. I asked Dr. Kristof about this when she saw me in pre-op, she clarified that she had entered me for outpatient/no overnight, and she rectified the problem.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
