5.0 star star star star starDr. Velez is a great example of a practitioner who has proven herself quite accomplished technically but also has the precious gift of being able to connect with her patients in a way that quickly gains trust and puts them at ease. This combination is truly a special trait that sets her apart.

5.0 star star star star starThe world needs more people like Dr. Velez! Her kindness, her willingness to spend time explaining what will happen when she probably has a million other things that need her attention, her patience and compassion with my anxiety, and those reassuring eyes above her mask make her my go to for all of the scary tests and symptoms that life throws at me.

5.0 star star star star starShe’s very informative and will ease your nerves. I also like that she teaches you about whatever you’ve come in for and will show you certain things. She’s an amazing doctor who I’d love to have again.

5.0 star star star star starDr Velez is not only knowledgeable and accomplished technically, but instantly put me at ease with her ability to connect to her patients. My consultation appointment was educational and gave me the confidence I was choosing the right option forward. The day of surgery, she spent at least 45 minutes with us prior to the procedure to answer all my last minute questions and to prepare me for the next step of recovery.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Velez is so kind and caring. She was direct and to the point, answering all of my questions along the way. Dr. Velez made a plan as to the next testing and steps to get a diagnosis and to then decide how to treat the problem. She reached out to colleagues and suggested I may want to schedule an appointment to talk with one or two of them to see what they had to offer me. The cancer diagnosis was shocking and not at all what I expected. She encouraged me to remain positive and offered for me to call her at any time. That evening she called me at home (7:30 pm) to check to see how I was doing emotionally. That was above and beyond what was expected of her but certainly made me feel well cared for. She was calling from the office and I am sure she was exhausted after a long day. These past couple of weeks were the first time I have ever met Dr. Velez and I can't thank her enough for her excellent care.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Velez is the best doctor I’ve ever had and I’m 70 years old. Very diligent. Great communication not only with the staff and Dr. Sheath, but also with me. She kept me apprised if any changes made.

5.0 star star star star starOutstanding Care and Excellent doctor bedside manner. She is far above the normal doctors I am accustomed to visiting. She was competent, knowledgeable, reassuring, and presented personal information in a compassionate, non-judgmental way. As a private and shy person, I don't think this type of information could be delivered any better. Top

5.0 star star star star starFrom our first meeting to my last visit yesterday Dr. Velez has been in my corner. Cheering me on, patiently explaining what needed to be done and all of the options for the best outcome. Her kindness and compassion have made an intensely scary time in my life one I will remember with gratitude and positivity.

5.0 star star star star starShe explains everything in detail. She answers all of my questions and she followed up a couple of time after surgery just to see how I was doing. She made the whole process a lot less scary than it could have been.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Velez was extremely thorough with the most minimal process to the most detailed process. Her knowledge and ability in using that knowledge was presented professional and loving throughout my care (in office and hospital), with "easy to understand" explanations.

5.0 star star star star starBased on both my and my wife's experiences with her, I regard Dr. Velez as a highly skilled surgeon who is really concerned about her patients' welfare. The results of my recent surgery are, so far at least, excellent.
