5.0 star star star star starIf you are looking for someone to care about your well being beyond the office visit. Someone who knew what he wanted to do from a young child, because he wanted to help his family, who also had a family history of higher cholesterol. Then here is my only recommendation, Dr Neil Stone. Thank Dr Stone may God Bless You, for being so very smart, loving, and kind.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Stone is a kind and caring physician that spent time with me to go over my symptoms. He also called me on a Sunday evening to go over concerns I had. He is the best Doctor I have seen at Northwestern. All physicians at Northwestern could learn from him on how to treat their patients.

5.0 star star star star starVery thorough doctor. Contacted me prior to the appointment to assure that I had blood drawn prior to the appointment with the physician. The doctor was very thorough and I as a patient did not have to wait long.

5.0 star star star star starI’ve never met a doctor like him. He’s kind, concerned, patient, ultra knowledgeable, and has a great smile. His famous quote†I’ll learn from you and you learn from meâ€. I feel safe in his hands.

5.0 star star star star starDr Stone takes a lot of time during the appointment to ensure the plan of care is discussed with and understood by the patient. I do not feel like many doctors take this time anymore so I really appreciate it. He truly cares about his patients.

5.0 star star star star starExcellent physician. Clear explanation of hypercholesterolemia. Listens intensely. Extremely knowledgeable and kind. He spent an hour with me going over in detail my medical condition. He explained everything in a manner I fully understood. Answered all of my questions and made recommendations on next steps.

5.0 star star star star starEven though I have been a difficult patient with wide intolerance for medication he has tried to come up with so many alternatives to have me try. He has never lost his patience with me all these years. I do appreciate his care immensely. I knowI could never get this kind of care anywhere. .

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
