5.0 star star star star starDr. Ruben listened to all of my concerns, answered all of my questions, reviewed my past results from older tests and compared them with the newer results. Took so much time with me. Talks in a level anyone can understand. I’m amazed and so happy to be under his care now.

5.0 star star star star starHe began with a lot of informed questions about what led to my being there, and he actively listened to my responses and went deeper when he needed more information. He was very patient; he thoroughly explained his understanding of my condition, and what outcomes might be possible and what the next steps were. He was very careful to be sure that I understood. And with his explaining what is done in general in his field/specialty, as well as him giving context to that work within the broader medical community, I had a very clear concept of what could be done for me at northwestern as well as potential limitations, depending on the outcomes of my tests. In sum my visit with Dr. Mylvaganam was probably one of best I have experienced in my history of medical care, notwithstanding that Northwestern has so many gifted professionals that I have been fortunate to meet and to be under their care.

5.0 star star star star starSame as above. Sadly, it’s rare to find a doctor who doesn’t dismiss the concerns of patients who are women and who are overweight. But, I felt like Dr. Mylvaganam took my concerns seriously. I felt respected

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
