5.0 star star star star starI noticed that she reviewed my records prior to coming in the exam room, knows why I am there, my radiology reports and other office notes from the other specialist she previously referred me to. Provided great exam, explained them where I could understand them and asked me questions about other medical concerns I may have.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Vavra did a remarkable job explaining everything. She had an anatomical model to be able to point out what I have going on and thoroughly explain the next steps, procedure, etc. There was a lot of information to cover but she did it eloquently and made sure to ask if I had questions or needed clarification. It made me feel very comfortable and confident to go into next steps (surgery, etc) with her.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Ashley Vivra is a compassionate medical doctor and surgeon who recognizes the humanity of her patient. She does more than dispensed statistical information. For example, she listened patiently and intensely, explained the upcoming procedure using detail diagrams, and encourage my questions. She represents the absolute finest in the medical practice. External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg. To learn more about our Disclosure and Professional Integrity Policy, and the conflict of interest policies of our joint affiliate survey partners, please go to our Office for Regulatory Affairs Policies page.
