5.0 star star star star starAfter working with countless doctors in my field and the doctors I have had personally, Dr Funk truly stands out as one of the best. She is knowledgeable and so personable! She takes the time and answer any and all questions you have. Never rushed through anything but is still very efficient. She is truly a blessing to any first time parent. She makes you feel good about any and all of your concerns by answering questions with knowledge and kindness.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Funk is extremely friendly and not intimidating for my children. This is very important to me as we have had trouble before with doctors being insensitive to our child with special needs. Dr. Funk is very knowledgeable and explains everything in a straightforward manner. She listens to our concerns and has wise suggestions. She has earned our trust as the family pediatrician. I am thankful we found her!

5.0 star star star star starDr. Funk has great energy and welcomed us warmly to the practice. I filled her in on the care plan previously disguised with our last pediatrician and she wasted no time getting referrals and procedures ordered. She demonstrated that she's proactive and listens.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
