5.0 star star star star starHis care team was incredible. The anesthesiologist listened to my concerns and took the time to make sure I was educated about what he would be doing and the steps he would take to help me be more comfortable. The anesthesiology nurse was lovely and before being fully put to sleep I was shaking due to being so nervous. An OR staff gently patted my arm while holding the oxygen mask on in a comforting manner than really put me at ease. It wasn't asked of her she just saw I was struggling with my anxiety and was a calm presence.

5.0 star star star star starI have been through hell in Peoria for 8 months getting nowhere and suffering. Finally a dear friend said I should switch and make the drive up to NM and so I did. I was able to get an appointment with him quickly and in one visit we instantly got somewhere. He clearly had taken the time to review my file and scans before I arrived. He was easy to talk to and he explained everything so well. It was an amazing experience for a change and I will be making that drive to see him from now on. He started me on a treatment plan I have confidence in

5.0 star star star star starI cannot speak highly enough about Dr.Gallo. Dr.Gallo is the first male gynecology provider I've had in my life, and, as someone with past sexual trauma, I was incredibly nervous leading up to my appointment. From the moment Dr.Gallo walked into the room, however, I felt relaxed. His confidence, competency, and personable professionalism set me completely at ease. I have never had a better experience at a GYN appointment.

5.0 star star star star starNot sure if this is TMI, but I have irregular cycles, like BAD, at my previous gyno I had asked if I could be switched to another birth control, they ignored me. Not with Doctor Gallo, when I told him about the irregular cycles, I didn't even have to mention that I was looking to switch it! He read my mind! Not to mention how funny he is!! He made the visit INSANELY FAST! Like I saw previously, I was use to waiting in the exam room for almost half an hour, the exam took longer. He was quick! Doctor Gallo, you're an amazing human being and I love you and your team!

5.0 star star star star starI would like to express my deepest gratitude to Dr. Martin Gallo and his wonderful nurses, Victoria and Donna. Their compassion, professionalism, and genuine care have truly made a lasting impact on my life. What sets Dr. Gallo and his team apart is their ability to truly listen. For over a year, I lived with persistent pain and frustration, visiting multiple facilities_including Advocate and even your ER in Palos_without receiving meaningful relief or clear answers. Despite the challenges and costs, I was left without hope or comfort. That changed the day I met Dr. Gallo. From the very first appointment, he and his nurses took the time to hear my concerns, understand my symptoms, and take thoughtful action. Their kindness, patience, and expertise restored not only my health but also my faith in compassionate care. I am deeply thankful for their dedication and would love to find a way to recognize them for the exceptional work they do every day. Please let me know if there's an avenue for me to formally commend or honor their service within your organization. Sincerely, Helena Agee

5.0 star star star star starDr. Gallo consistently goes above & beyond as a doctor. I have 13 other doctors at various medical systems (Rush, Loyola, Duly, DuPage Central & Mayo Clinic) & none of them even come close to his professional attitude & caring mannerisms.

5.0 star star star star starMy doctor retired and I had to find a new doctor. I was worried I would not find someone so kind and caring as he was. I was so happy that I saw Dr Gallo, I felt like I picked up were I left off with my long term doctor. I was immediately at ease with him. We discussed my overall health and concerns. He was very professional yet friendly at the same time. I am now very happy to be under such great care. I highly recommend making an appointment. You will be very happy you did. I certainly am.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care.
