5.0 star star star star starDr Shah is very patient, and truly listens to your symptoms while asking the right questions. I've had other Neurologists in the past who are offensively dismissive and have since left their practices- I couldn't feel more confident in my care.

5.0 star star star star starSince she started treating me, she has paid close attention to my case, which, from what I've been told, isn't very common. It's been almost a year on February 13th, and the difference between when she started the treatment, which was different from what Rush Copley was giving me, is enormous. While time also plays a part, the medication and Dr. Shad's care are very good, and not only that, she also coordinates well with the other doctors who are managing my illness.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Shah checked the strength of my rt. leg , arm, and hand. She went over my PT experience. She would like me to begin a new medication, Ampyra, which is exciting to me. The pros and cons were gone over, and I will soon begin taking it. My chart was gone over. Dr. Shah listened to me and I carefully listened to her. Her nurse, Kristen was very pleasant, checking out my speed, meds, BP, etc. Nancy, my wife, was with me

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
