5.0 star star star star starTwo reasons - and they are both Dr. Aleppo. 1. Not only is she a truly gifted communicator, her experience and expertise in the field has helped me achieve a level of health I've never felt as a diabetic. 2. Her empathetic style allows for freedom of discussion, real-life examples, and understanding of how hard this disease is. This is irreplaceable.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Aleppo is an excellent physician, top of the line in the Expertise of Endocrinology. November 2018 I was diagnosed DiabeticType 2, my A1C was 13.9, my Glucose was in the 400’s. After about a year I was taking over 80 Units of Insulin daily and was sick constantly. I was referred to Dr Aleppo from my Husband’s Nephrologist, Dr [las name]. I was able to get in to see Dr Aleppo very soon after even though she is extremely busy and booked a year in advance. As soon as I started seeing Dr. Aleppo and her PA,alternating Appointments, Dr Aleppo changed my Insulin Brand added Jardiance, which actually lowed the amount of Insulin and then about a year after added Ozempic which lowered the Amt of Insulin I had to take daily. My A1C went down to low 7’s and continued to drop consistently along with my Daily Glucose Levels. For the last 2 years my A1C has been stable 6.5-6.0. It h has been 5.9. As of Today 12/06/2023 my A1C is 5.7. My Gucose is Stabe and I feel great. This is all do to the Care and concern of Dr Aleppo and Staff. Dr Aleppo takes the time to get to know her patient, what’s going on in their life, listens to them and works with them to find the best therapeutic treatment for that person. She has a great bedside manner, is easy to talk to, and makes sure that all treatment is completely understood. Thank you Dr. Aleppo

Her ability to immediately discern a need for micro shifts based on CGM data to produce macro impact on my Tyoe 1 regimen is phenomenal. I can always depend on her. She is very patient centric and an empathic listener regarding the challenges of Type 1 diabetes. She presents options and includes you in the decision making regarding the best treatment. For all these reasons I will drive from SW Michigan to Chicago for her expert care.
