5.0 star star star star starDr. Whitney keeps all my medical issues on her radar, is proactive in all areas and gives me treatment options if available. She refers me to excellent specialists in the area. She thoroughly explains medical problems and sends me links to information to supplement them. She is personable and takes an interest in her patients' lifestyles which I believe helps her assess their health. We spend four months up north and Dr. Whitney is attentive to all our needs there as well and finds good specialists in our area there.

5.0 star star star star starDr Whitney takes her time examining her patients. You never feel rushed. She listens to you attentively and asks questions that allow her to fully understand you. Her recommendations for follow up care with specialists has been wonderful in getting to the root of my concerns and I have improved greatly. When doctor Whitney doesn't know something she immediately finds out about it and finds a resolution. She is one of the very best doctors I have ever worked with, even when I'm stubborn about my health she explains her thoughts so both of us are comfortable going forward.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
