5.0 star star star star starShe was very friendly, asked a lot of questions, and made sure I understood what she was telling me before moving on. She was also really helpful in explaining the next steps for my follow up, as well as helping me schedule my next appts.

5.0 star star star star starSimilar to my answer below I had a very positive visit with Dr. Brutman. After not have a PCP for about two years I thought it time to get aquatinted with an MD in case I needed to see anyone. After a recommendation from a cousin I scheduled with Dr. Brutman and will see her for the foreseeable future.

5.0 star star star star starI absolutely loved Dr. Brutman! I felt so comfortable talking to her and she never once made me feel rushed or like my questions were an inconvenience. You can also tell she’s more modern in her understanding of medicine and I appreciate that. I’m so happy to have found her!

5.0 star star star star starDr. Brutman has been on time both times I have seen her. She has spent time talking to me, asking questions, going over next steps and treatment options, and making sure we have covered everything. I didn’t feel rushed, as I did with my previous NM doctor. I also feel like she listened and took a true interest in my well being. She didn’t give me cookie cutter answers, but rather looked at the whole picture. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a doctor.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
