5.0 star star star star starDr. Medina is highly recommended by my family doctor. Dr. Madina was also very helpful in adding an additional test to ensure that I could address some serious medical concerns. This was my second colonoscopy and I was as please as someone can be about a colonoscopy. Dr. Madina is also an easy guy to like and I would highly recommend him to anyone.

5.0 star star star star starHe has a friendly disposition and bedside manner. I think I vaguely remember reaching for his hand after the procedure because I was so relieved nothing was wrong. I told him my friend had received different news and so I had been scared. He was caring and empathetic which I appreciated very much in that moment.

5.0 star star star star starAlthough I had not seen Dr. Medina for over three years. He recalled me, knew my history, took the time to answer my questions and also to make suggestions about my future care and the medication that I was on.

5.0 star star star star starI had a positive colorguard result. I appreciate how quickly I was able to schedule a colonoscopy. Although I did not have an in person consultation before the procedure, Dr Medina called me and walked me through the procedure.

5.0 star star star star starVery personable doctor. Kind and understanding. Called me personally a few days before the procedure to discuss process, from drinking the laxative to what would happen the day of the procedure. Really liked him, would recommend him to all my friends/family.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
