5.0 star star star star starI love the way he takes the time to explain everything takes the time to ask me is it anything wrong with me? Anything he can do for me? It makes me feel like he cares and I really appreciate that.

5.0 star star star star starAlthough extremely busy and the patient load is tremendous... Dr Hung has patience , has great bed side manner and is very through . He gently will tell you what you need to hear and not always what you want to hear. He may not be able to return messages in my chart quickly but will always get back to you

5.0 star star star star starHe is very attentive and thorough. The only slight criticism I may have is that he gets bad information on how patients are to follow up with their initial primary care appointments. In specific, twice already, I went to get labs, pertaining to a certain condition. And have gotten the runaround when trying to schedule an appointment

5.0 star star star star starDr. Hung continues to impress me in the most subtle ways. He along with NM neurology and NM pain management are trying to understand why I have a loss in leg function and significant increase in leg pain. Dr. Hung is supportive and appears to always be the individual who listens to me and my symptoms most acutely and take appropriate action whether that be labs, imaging, or referals for consults. He also hss been instrumental in helping me see specialists in an expedited manner.
Disclosures
Sam T. Hung, MD reported no external professional relationships for calendar year 2024.
External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
