Jon P. Aagaard, MD, is a dedicated family medicine physician who centers his practice on relationships with patients and their families across the lifespan, from newborn infants to centenarians. He believes every patient deserves compassionate, accessible and preventive care that supports long, healthy lives. Dr. Aagaard emphasizes healthy daily routines, adequate sleep, balanced nutrition and regular physical activity as foundations of wellness and resilience against disease and aging. In his approach, prevention and education are key. He teaches patients to recognize early signs of illness and to engage in proactive health decisions. He treats both acute and chronic conditions with a focus on long-term outcomes and quality of life. When specialized care is needed, he coordinates with trusted colleagues and specialists to ensure comprehensive management, and he remains connected to his patients if hospitalization is required, seeing his patients in the hospital to provide continuity of care. The practice is supported by an outstanding office team who helps patients secure timely appointments, order labs and imaging, and navigate insurance authorization when needed. Dr. Aagaard and his staff are committed to making health care straightforward, collaborative and patient centered.
