After 3 visits, I've already recommended Dr. Durkin to my family and friends. He is the first and only Chiropractor I've seen that gave me a realistic plan for treatment. Dr. Durkin is treating my condition for long-term wellness, not with just a manipulation and temporary relief.

Dr Durkin is unique in his care - He has made me a believer in my gradual recovery from multiple issues that plagued me for years. I have gone to many doctors over many years, ER's too, all without bringing the betterment of results, the relief from pain, but through my primary giving me this referral, I have been seeing Dr Durkin for 18 months, and all the while learning from and doing what I am to do, and steadily seeing and feeling the changes. In addition, learning the better understanding of how many of the pains I experienced were responses to my issues, I see the improvements and understand the "Why" behind them. Yes - I tell a lot of people about Dr Durkin, kudos NM!

Dr Durkin is genuinely perceptive and has a fuller understanding of managing health improvement, and pain management. Return visits are started off by getting an update assessment on what I experienced in practicing of daily physical regimens, good or bad, as well as whether anything needing to be addressed. This is a prime differentiator, and helps to keep me on track. Each visit Dr Durkin asks for my feedback and provides new insights and any correction needed to tweak my regimen, either by changing up a lesson or showing me how to do the exercise properly in the event I was not on the mark. The results speak for themselves. For my better understanding, to my questions, he clarifies things for me that enable me to have some control over the outcome - that's empowering!

Dr Durkin establishes the best care treatment plan and provides relatable feedback which has been a blessing for my recovering. My visits are always very helpful - the guidance for home exercise therapy I receive supports me specifically, and takes into consideration all the feedback and concerns I provide. As poorly as I was when I first began treatments to where I am today is amazing. I'm not sure that it was motivation but rather trust and confidence in Dr Durkin knowing what was best for me that helped me stay the course.

Dr. Durkin did a lot more on my first visit than all the treatment I had in the past 2 years before I saw him for the first time. He was able to help me so my jaw wouldn't stuck open anymore, the pain has became less and even though it's not gone I'm in a better state then I was before I saw him. I visit his office in Bloomingdale from 2hrs and a half away, but it is worth the trip. I would recommend him to anyone who has issues with TMJ.
