5.0 star star star star starDr Kapp is very conscientious and ordered one more scan prior to the procedure to be certain it was necessary. He also communicated directly with my care team of physicians at Northwestern coordinating follow-up and ensuring the highest level of care. Dr Kapp is very personable, has a sense of humor, and very skilled. He followed up with me promptly after the procedure that was very successful and I am feeling better than ever. Many thanks to Dr Kapp and his team.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Kapp took his time to come back and talk with me about what was going to be happening. When he realized I had multiple family members in the waiting room he said he would go out and talk to them all together.

5.0 star star star star starDidn't expect Dr. Kapp to even be at this appointment. Thought they would just do the scheduled procedure, and that would be it. Dr. Kapp not only made sure all would go well, but the Anesthesiologist made every effort to know my concerns, and to make sure she did everything possible to make sure I was getting the best care. So refreshing to have doctors who really care about those in their care.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
