5.0 star star star star starDr. Teven thoroughly explained the procedure, was very professional in his approach to my issue, was very gentle and concerned about my level of discomfort…making sure that the pain was mitigated to the greatest degree possible. His explanation of after care was easy to follow, assuring a timely recovery and healing. Dr. Teven’s warm and friendly personality were reassuring and calming.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Teven is, without a doubt, the kindest, most affable, and empathetic physician I have ever encountered in my way too broad experience. He is reassuring at every step and encourages questions, which he answers completely and in a fashion that I could understand. Dr. Teven explains options, the pluses and minuses of each and walked me through the decision making process.Although I would prefer not seeing him on a professional level for future problem(enough of this cancer and it’s unexpected surprises), I would recommend him to anyone needing his services (and would love meeting him for coffee on a non medical level).

5.0 star star star star starDr. Teven is absolutely sets the standard for what a doctor should be. I came in very nervous and down about my situation and left feeling so upbeat and positive. Dr. Teven was so patient and understanding, I cannot imagine a more perfect doctor.

5.0 star star star star starDr.Teven was friendly and warmly welcomed me. When he asked my reason for seeing him, he listened carefully and then examined me. The suggestions he made for my care are, I believe, the best options for me. I look forward to seeing him in the future to follow up on what more needs or does not need to be done for my issue.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg. To learn more about our Disclosure and Professional Integrity Policy, and the conflict of interest policies of our joint affiliate survey partners, please go to our Office for Regulatory Affairs Policies page.
