I had an EKG prior to him coming in. He never examined me and was dismissive of the symptoms I tried to explain to him. He spent less than 5 minutes with me and pretty much told me that I simply needed to get my body to calm down after several illnesses. As I type I’m in the ER at Edward Hospital and about to be admitted for heart failure and a blood clot. I tried to tell him I was in trouble but he didn’t hear me.

Dr Kumar was patient and I never felt hurried when we met prior to the procedure. He gave me his cell # in case I had concerns or questions during the evaluation process, which impressed me. The actual surgery went according to plan and the after-care in the hospital was excellent
