5.0 star star star star starDr Mehta treats the whole person, beginning with the question of how are you doing? From there he explains the results of the blood test, followed by an explanation of day's treatment. All along the way, he welcomes questions and provides complete explanations.

5.0 star star star star starHe is truly fantastic. Willing to listen to questions from patients and also explains in easy terms the reasons for the current treatment plan. I asked him a what if question today and he answered it in details. Excellent physician!

5.0 star star star star starDr. Jayesh Mehta has been terrific. For someone as busy as he is, he has taken time with me (patient) and my husband (care giver) to focus on the positive, without being toxically positive. I appreciate that directness. He's also got a very compassionate, human side that he's not afraid to show - which for the medical field hasn't always been my experience, and that I have truly appreciated.

5.0 star star star star starBoth my primary physician and nephrologist highly recommended Dr. Mehta. I understand why. I was told I would be in great hands and that feels like the truth from my first experience. It felt as if I were quite important and my care was a wonderful significance to him. I found him to be thorough, knowledgeable, responded to all questions, put me at ease, great next steps, easy to understand with such a tender topic that was quite new to me. I experienced not 1 ounce of nerves!

5.0 star star star star starDoctor Mehta has been nothing short of excellent in every possible way, and he has handled my health care issue with extreme confidence. He has always explained my treatment in a very professional manner and carried out that plan to the letter. I will always be internally grateful for his treatment and professional accomplishments.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
