At Northwestern Medicine, our patient’s feedback is important to us. While different care providers have their own unique strengths, we strive to be as transparent as possible with our quality of care.
He was very good in explaining to my husband and I what the problem was and how he intended to fix it surgically. Today follow up he spent time with us. Did not rush us. Answered all our questions and is taking a very conservative approach to my healing so that nothing disrupts the screws that are pining the hip together.
Was recommended by a coworker to see him, and I had an appt. But unfortunately I was having back issues so I asked if he could do my appt as a tele visit which he was very accommodating he called me and went over my results and explained the issue to me. It was nice for him to call me at the end of his day, seems like a Dr. Who cares
Took his time to review the x-ray results, ask questions, test body part, and thought through situation before offering potential diagnosis. Very friendly, intelligent, and diligent in his understanding of the situation.
Dr Smyth could have told me I needed surgery because I 💯 thought I needed it when I went in but , he thought there were other things we could try to avoid surgery. I really appreciated his honesty.
