5.0 star star star star starI wish all my doctors could be like Dr Voigt. So smart, so caring, and not condescending in any way. Always prompt in answering questions and addressing the issues I was anxious about. I can tell she is a skilled and confident surgeon. I am constantly thinking about how much better my experience and care have been since I met her. Had I not sought out NM Gynecology and had I followed the advice of my less knowledgeable previous gynecologist I am sure I would have had 2-3 unnecessary procedures and then an invasive procedure that may not have solved my bleeding. I seriously want to tell anyone I know with fibroids to just go straight to Dr Voigt / Northwestern. THANK YOU!!!!

5.0 star star star star starShe immediately made me feel like I was in good hands, at our first telehealth conversation. She's knowledgeable and confident, but a great listener too and is not at all condescending. I felt heard and understood. She was clear about my options (and offered multiple!) and answered my questions. When I had more questions and fears prior to surgery, especially being very afraid about heavy bleeding, she was SO fast to respond, and was caring and concise and reassuring. She is a superstar. I am seriously getting teary-eyed right now writing this--I wish all my doctors were like Dr. Voigt.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Voigt was extremely professional and attentive for both pre and post op care. I went into surgery with the utmost trust that I would be cared for at the highest level and she did not disappoint! I trust her guidance and would not hesitate to be under her care again, if needed. I have to give her team the same credit. Dr. [last name] and Dr. [last name] were equally wonderful and attentive. My post op nurse Jacqueline was simply the best as well!

5.0 star star star star starShe's a fantastic doctor. She's consistent, communicative, competent, and kind. She's trans competent and if anyone is looking for care regarding a gender affirming hysto, I feel really confident recommending her and the team.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Voigt's an amazing surgeon, on top of having great bedside skills. A week post op, I really don't feel pain day to day. Before, during, and after the procedure she took a lot of care to preserve and respect my personhood and dignity. Especially as a trans patient and volunteer patient advocate, I've seen and experienced some stuff firsthand, and that shaped some of my expectations coming in. Dr. Voigt addressed all of those, and then some, and makes me feel confident in recommending her to other community members. Having complete control and freedom over my reproductive health and my transition means the world to me, and I'm so, so thankful.

5.0 star star star star starI wish I can rate higher than a 10. She is absolutely amazing, kind, empathetic, so smart and has such good bedside manner. Not every doctor is like that and I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Voigt.

Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships.
