5.0 star star star star starDr. Meeks is awesome. His manners during surgery prep and the obvious respect his team has for him. I was very fortunate, I think, to have him for my surgery. Post on he has been informative and precise. Thank you!

5.0 star star star star starI just met Dr.Meeks today after a previous conference call. He seems commutative and shows interest in the patients concerns and questions. He addressed those concerns at least the ones I could bring up based on the procedure he was performing. I know you can’t tell it all and ask it all in allotted time, but tell and explain to me how and why you’re these things and so far he has. He let me know to contact him going forward if I have any concerns. My level of encouragement increased because he gave me verbal as well as visual assessments of my condition.

5.0 star star star star starI was introduced and spoke with Dr. Meeks today. My only other reference was his profile on NM’s website. He seemed to listen more intently than he spoke. I still need to meet him in person so that’s why I’m stopping at 9, which is still a good rating.

5.0 star star star star starDr Meeks is exceptional. Most importantly he takes the time after the examination to field any questions and to explain everything you need answered in terms where you can understand it perfectly. I believe that to be one of his best qualities regarding bedside manner. I could not be happier

5.0 star star star star starHis demeanor was low-key and calming and he projected humility -- which was not what I expected given my previous experience with other physicians. I liked he was conducting clinical trials. All this was reassuring during a scary time.

5.0 star star star star starFirst time I had a meeting with dr. Meeks I know that he was the doctor I asked him if he could keep my situation under control and he said he didn't have any intentions on keeping it under control his intentions were to kill it for it never to come back that's confidence

5.0 star star star star starExcellent credentials. Very good skills. I would encourage Dr. Meeks to elicit information from patient about daily urinary functions and any possible solutions like exercise or therapy. Otherwise, a very fine appointment.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Meeks is an outstanding physician. His vigilance in monitoring me led to discovery of lung cancer in an extremely early stage even though there were no symptoms. He has also been instrumental in helping me deal with the emotional difficulties of a bladder cancer diagnosis and the impact of losing my bladder. This emotional impacts can be severe and often times an overlooked aspect of continuing care. Prior to moving to Chicago my previous urologist did not address this. With Dr. Meeks' approach to care I have made enormous strides emotionally.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
