5.0 star star star star starDr. Mirza was very kind and personable. She was very thorough by means of asking me many questions about my symptoms and overall health. I did not feel hurried, and she answered all of my questions. I felt much more confident in understanding what has been ailing me, and she provided both prescriptions along with other things that I can practice on my own to improve my present condition.

5.0 star star star star starDr Mirza was fantastic - I really hope she can see this feedback. I came in with sinus pain complaint. She was kind, listened to me and clearly explained the issue and why it was best to assume the infection was still viral. She gave me nasal sprays for treatment, and recommended a neti pot. I had never used a neti pot before and it's AMAZING. She also prescribed an antibiotic just in case symptoms don't resolve with the sprays in 3-4 days. That's so empowering. She trusts me to follow her orders so I don't have to come back for another prescription if I need it. Respectful, efficient and trustworthy. I wish Dr Mirza was my PCP.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
