5.0 star star star star starDr. Kuzel and his care team are friendly and compassionate. They take their time with me at each appointment and answer all of our questions thoroughly. Dr. Kuzel is a expert in the most advanced cancer treatment. After two immunotherapy treatments for my melanoma, my blood markers are back to normal and my two masses have dramatically shrunk. Additionally, he diagnosed a rare condition that had eluded a wide variety of doctors over the past nine months.

5.0 star star star star starI would recommend Dr Kuzel without hesitation. Many years ago when melanoma spread to my colon, lung and rib I credit Dr Kuzel and his staff with help of God for a great outcome. That was 11years ago.

5.0 star star star star starDr Kuzel is a brilliant doctor, yet approachable to me as a patient, oftentimes not the case in medical professionals. His demeanor puts me at ease, and I especially appreciate that he goes over all test results with me, with explanations, which helps me to understand exactly where I am in the process.

5.0 star star star star starHe was completed prepared but also quickly validated a few things to humanize the session. Then he explained in enough detail for us to understand our true kidney cancer situation which very sensible actions. Again, we felt relief. He's a smart dude.

5.0 star star star star starDr Kuzel was very straight forward with what has NOT been done by Dr [name] in the last 89 days. He had suggested his plan. We thought his plan was good and thought it was time to seek another opinion!

5.0 star star star star starI respect and appreciate Dr Kuzel. He is competent, knowledgeable and always takes the time to address all my questions and concerns in a kind manner. I followed Dr Kuzel from his previous position at another health care system because I wouldn't want anyone else overseeing my care.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
