Dr. Micco was awesome. He took the time to explain my condition in detail and explain all of my testing I had done. I went to a neurotologist at CDH who barely explained anything to me and had terrible bedside manner. I'm glad I gave northwestern another try and came to see Dr. Micco. He had excellent bedside manner.

He's kind. He saw me even though I arrived at the wrong time. He hears me when cleaning my ear becomes painful. One time we scheduled a return visit because it was too painful and had me take drops to help, and they did. He didn't pressure me to push through the pain

Very personable. Explained answers to our questions in a clear way without making us feel that we were asking not smart questions (happens more than you think). Dr Micco was actually the first person i met with when looking at NM for a second opinion on my surgery. His explanation of the initial MRI, the surgical process, the immediate set up of a meeting 2 days later with Dr. [ ]_he seriously made NM my choice from our first consult with him.
