Former athlete who really gets athletes. Recognized the importance to kids of playing sports. Quick diagnosis and love the treatment plan. Asked lots of relevant questions and took the time to talk to us and answer questions.

This was an excellent 1st visit with Dr. Babka. He was very informative and extremely knowledgeable and talked to and explained things to my daughter (the patient) so she understood the issues and possible treatment options. I immediately scheduled my other two children who have sport injuries.

He is very knowledgeable and shares that with his patients. He communicates well, includes the patient in decisions, provides a sense of real care and concern being available for questions during and after appointments.

He’s always gone above and beyond for the several years I’ve been under his care. He’s honest and always makes me feel safe and listened to, not to mention he’s always gotten me back to 100%. Could never recommend him enough!!

Knowledgeable, personable, and willing to take time to listen and process data. Understands how athletes think and more than willing to factor a person’s goals and even philosophy into treatment plan.

Dr. Babka understands and is sympathetic to the needs of adolescent athletes. He is good at offering treatment options and is committed to helping kids get back to doing what they love as quickly as possible.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg. To learn more about our Disclosure and Professional Integrity Policy, and the conflict of interest policies of our joint affiliate survey partners, please go to our Office for Regulatory Affairs Policies page.
