5.0 star star star star starVery caring & explained everything so we could understand it. Was not rushing us out of her office like most Doctors do now days! She is a great Doctor, so happy my husband, Robert, was able to meet with her and have her explain everything so well to us, we felt much less concerned about his health issues after seeing her.

5.0 star star star star starHer experience and preparation before my visit was remarkable. I was impressed that she had taken considerable care to know my case and understand my needs even before I voiced them was impressive. I am sorry she was only a stand-in for me at this appointment. I appreciated that she was willing to work closely with M D Anderson Cancer Center in Houston for my continued treatment under their general direction. Truly an answer to prayer! Thank you, Dr. Ferris!

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
