5.0 star star star star starDr. Hasanat provided good insights regarding perspective on recent physical health challenges. Rather than getting into details of physical health, he shifted to discussion of life situations (retirement) and leveraging the abundance of free time to enjoy activities such as travel. He effectively converted my outlook from describing the weather as partly cloudy to partly sunny. The important/effective aspect was leveraging our casual conversation about recent activities and travel to focus on continuing life experiences that are enjoyable (adventure/exporting travel). I feel that our history of sessions gave him the freedom to inspire/motivate me about leveraging the abundant free time that retirement allows, without doing so in 'medically prescribed' manner. I felt very connected during the discussion, and departed his office feeling energized/uplifted.

5.0 star star star star starDr is so easy to talk with and is an excellent Listener . His eyes are focused on me and calls me by name. He is so good about follow ups and keeping my meds up to date. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs a DOCTOR such as he.

4.0 star star star star star_borderGreat doctor . Feel that he didn't understand what I was trying to explain 100% Feel like he was going off the last doctor assessment. Which is why I wanted to come in and start fresh with a new evaluation. He is a great doctor ,with a lot experience and very knowledgeable.

4.0 star star star star star_borderHe has a very good memory of previous visits and family members and, if relevant, may refer to things at previous visits for linkage to current conservation to suggest certain behaviors that may be of benefit to a current concern/issue. Conversations are not siloed to current visit.

5.0 star star star star starI felt very comfortable with Dr. Hasanat. He is a good listener and is able to get to the root of the issues by asking the right questions. The doctor summarized what had been discussed and made suggestions as to what to focus on.

5.0 star star star star starHe definitely takes his time with you, listens and pays very close attention to everything you say. AND if you don't say something, maybe because you don't feel like "adding" to it, he does notice it himself and brings it to your attention. Yes, I was feeling sad, I didn't say anything but he noticed right away.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
