5.0 star star star star starDr Yoo is thorough and so pleasant. She spent time going over my exams with me and explaining the surgical procedure to include before and after care as well as possible side effects. Dr Yoo exudes positivity and competence. I have never had surgery and I feel I will be in safe hands.

5.0 star star star star starEven though it took almost an hour to finally see the doctor even though we were told 6 minutes after the nurse finished the blood pressure, I would totally recommend Dr. Yoo. She had this warm presence about her and we felt super comfortable with her. She explained everything very thoroughly. And asked if we had any questions. I feel confident with performing the surgery after our consult.

5.0 star star star star starDr Yoo is so kind and personable. She.very clearly explained all possible side effects of my surgery, and let me know that nine of her patients had experienced any of them. I've talked to other surgeons for various operations my parents have needed, and they all could take a lesson from Dr Yoo's compassion and kindness

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
