5.0 star star star star starDr. Davidson is the best in his field in every way. He is thoughtful, empathetic, respectful, an excellent communicator including being a great listener as well as explaining his diagnosis and treatment in both words and video that I understand as a layman and his patient. Anyone who has Charlie Davidson as their Cardiologist is a very lucky person.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Davidson took great pains to make sure we had all the information we needed but tried not to overload us with facts. He was very concerned about the trial, but made it clear that the patient's care came first. I would highly recommend him!

5.0 star star star star starVery personable Doctor and very willing to explain things. I felt that he would give me as much time as I needed. He didn’t rush in, do his thing and rush out, but talked to my husband and me and showed us the echocardiogram and explained.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Davidson was very knowledgeable about the options, and clearly explained the particulars of my health, and why they indicated a direction for my treatment. He made us feel comfortable asking questions, and gave us not only information but perspective. He was clearly interested in the best health outcome. The only suggestion for improvement is that he has an intense manner, and that sometimes the information comes rapidly, and takes a bit to absorb. He was very good at asking, 'Do you have any more questions?' Sometimes it takes a bit of a pause to know what questions to ask.

5.0 star star star star starLike my lengthy narrative above, my wife and I had a favorable first impression of Dr. Davidson. Very professional, expressed his clinical views in a straightforward manner and encouraged, and valued our perspectives. We also impressed how much he valued the practitioner nurse.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
