5.0 star star star star starHe was so kind and patient and eased my nerves. He was realistic and honest, then knocked my surgery out of the park and delivered results I was not expecting. I am thrilled. I’ve healed wonderfully and cleanly. He is clearly beyond proficient at his craft. I amSo glad I did the research and traveled to get this done with him.

5.0 star star star star starTakes his ti.e and explains things before he does them. He doesn't over do anything and takes his time. Very conscientious staff. I actually brought a friend with today so I have already recommended patients to him.

5.0 star star star star starI know was referred to him by a doctor I respect. I liked his bedside manner. He seemed kind of jazzed, like he was excited to be doing his job that day. It was a nice to have some energy and positivity in a place that can be very somber and serious.

5.0 star star star star starI had previously consulted with other plastic surgeons for a BAM consult. Dr. Kim has incredible bedside manners, and actually took the time to ask what kinds of results I was looking for. Dr. Kim asked me if I was looking for a more ‘rounded look’ vs. a more natural teardrop shape, which other plastic surgeons did not even ask what kind of result I was looking for. Also, Dr. Kim mentioned the risks of capsular contracture, which no other surgeons even spoke with me about. I walked out of the appt way more comfortable than when I had walked out of my previous consults with other surgeons, and am happy and excited to proceed with the surgery with Dr. Kim!

5.0 star star star star starHe truly is amazing artist. He listens to your wants, and tells you how to proceed...safely! That is key. Very great personality, has the ability to smile and laugh. That sets the tone that you are in safe hands.

1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderHe is a very nice man. I’m sure the office is short-staffed, but there was no time for me to address my concerns during the visit. Felt very rushed. I think it would be generous to say that I saw him for 5 minutes. It was more like 3.

5.0 star star star star starHaving never met Dr. Kim before my cancer reconstruction on my face. He has a kind, yet reassuring presence that put me at ease immediately. He worked on my face with the skill of a master artisan. His suture work seemed precise and was performed with gentle perseverance. His conscientiousness to the needs of the patient and his overall demeanor made this unpleasant surgery extremely tolerable. Until the pain that evening! :) Glad he decided to become a reconstructive surgeon. He seems to have a gift many surgeons are lacking, humanity.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
