5.0 star star star star starDr. Shah is extremely personable and builds trust with the patient immediately. He was able to quickly and efficiently identify the problem I had and provided the solution to me in a way that I understood. He didn’t shy away from expressing concern with the severity, but I felt reassured that he would do everything he could to fix it. And he did! Plus, he seems to remember small details about patients even months later which is very impressive and appreciated. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Shah

5.0 star star star star starHe ordered an Xray which confirmed an old break in my finger which was causing the discomfort. While unable to figure out with me why I had this current pain, it was healing and no other new issues were. Very kind demeanor and nice sense of humor

5.0 star star star star starThe office was personable, pleasant and professional. Dr. Shah was expedient in noting my urgent needs (of my injury) and prioritizing his busy schedule around it. He diagnosed and quickly forwarded my needs to the necessary providers (i.e. MRI).

5.0 star star star star starDirect, friendly bedside manner. Listened intently to my concerns, clearly explained the problem, and discussed treatment options. I like knowing to odds a single injection will suffice but also knowing it can be repeated and that surgery is available, if needed in the future.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Shaw is an outstanding orthopedic surgeon. I worked for one at Northwestern for several years so feel I can make an honest assessment. Dr. Shah is a thorough clinician, is extremely articulate and explaining the nature of the problem and options for treatment and care. He is personable and engaging and I recommend him without reservation

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
