5.0 star star star star starDr. Shah is outstanding!! Twice now he has diagnosed issues with my hand, and relieved pain and helped return my hand to normal use. He is brilliant. He is also sympathetic and positive, wonderful qualities in any doctor.

5.0 star star star star starHe was thorough and respectful in his explanation of what was going on with my hand. His curious questions enabled me to identify a possible problem behavior that may have exacerbated the pain I was experiencing. I can now avoid that behavior in the future. He answered all of my curious questions, too. He was quick and clear during his time with me, but I did not feel rushed at all. I appreciated his keeping the appointment moving along.

5.0 star star star star starDr Shah, not only is he extremely skilled in hands, but he listens intently, tests his assumptions before confirming diagnosis and ensures his patients receive proper treatment. He is able to communicate with the patient using language that is clear and understood by the patient. In addition, Dr Shah has great bedside manner and quickly puts the patient at ease to build confidence and repore. I came in thinking there was nothing that could be done about my arthritis. Dr Shah confirmed that I did in deed have arthritis but that was not causing my pain and discomfort. In addition to arthritis, i had Tendinitis which is treatable. He explained how it was different, a treatment and timetable for expected results and options if expected results were not achieved. He is an exceptional doctor who I highly recommend.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
