5.0 star star star star starShe is the first primary care doctor that I have had in my adult life that listened to me and understood me. She was very kind and courteous and was very knowledgeable in the field of medicine that she has prescribed me.

5.0 star star star star starShe is awesome. Makes you feel comfortable and cared for. Which I have not experienced ever from the previous doctor I was seeing. The world would be a better place if everyone was a little more like Dr Jama.

5.0 star star star star starShe took the time to listen to my background and had reviewed my prior health issues before my appt. She was caring, kind and very knowledgeable. She also provided me with good insights into a few of the issues we discussed.

5.0 star star star star starDR. Jama is wonderful! She listens, asks relevant questions, completely explains everything, all questions answered. I didn't think any Dr would be able to fill Dr.Sanders position, but Dr. Jama does. My husband and I are very happy to have her as our Dr.

5.0 star star star star starShe genuinely cares about her patients and provides the highest level of care possible. Her communication was clear and very easy to understand. She works to connect with patients on a personal level, not just a medical level.

5.0 star star star star starAfter losing my primary care doctors (Dr. [last name] and Dr. [last name]) to that new and expensive service, I was very unhappy and considered leaving the practice. However, after today and my first appointment with Dr. Jama, I'm staying. I was really pleasantly surprised with Dr. Jama. She was very prepared, engaging, and extremely competent. Most importantly, she was very nice and seemed genuinely concerned with my health and well being. I felt like a valued patient again.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Jama is wonderful. I was not happy at having to change HCP due to my recent insurance change. Dr. Jama truly won me over with her knowledgeable and helpful manner. She took time to listen to my health concerns and even went beyond my expectations by finding an affordable replacement to a very expensive medication. Dr. Jama has seamlessly continued my healthcare plan, even making a few good changes. I feel that I hit the jackpot in finding such a terrific new doctor.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
