Bio

Dr. Andruska treats a broad array of tumors including brain and spine cancer, head and neck cancer, lung cancer, lymphoma, gastrointestinal cancer, breast cancer, genitourinary (prostate, bladder and renal) cancer, gynecologic cancer and skin cancer. He specializes in applying proton therapy to complex reirradiation cases. He has expertise in using proton therapy, intensity modulated radiotherapy, Gamma Knife stereotactic radiosurgery, stereotactic body radiotherapy, brachytherapy and radiopharmaceuticals. Dr. Andruska has a passion for translational and clinical research, and aims to use research to further optimize patient outcomes. He has over 50 publications, including in journals like The Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, Journal of American Medical Association, and Journal of Clinical Oncology. A few of his studies are currently cited in the National Comprehensive Cancer Network management guidelines. He has been actively involved in several trials funded by the National Cancer Institute over the past decade.
