Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Hospital’s Rehabilitative Services is Lake County’s most comprehensive and accessible offering of specialized rehabilitative services provided by highly trained, licensed physical and occupational therapists.
Physical therapists treat individuals with physical dysfunction due to disease or injury, or they help prevent injuries from occurring (i.e. athletic preparation), using treatment techniques that promote the ability to move, reduce pain and prevent disability.
Occupational therapists help individuals learn or re-learn the fine motor skills that can give them independence in everyday life.
We offer the following specialty therapy programs, staffed by therapists with certifications and specialized training:
At Lake Forest Hospital, you will work one-on-one with one of our therapists to develop an individualized therapy regimen that is developed in close and ongoing collaboration with your personal physician.
